Methodology for selection of technical parameters of gas accumulator. The paper presents a methodology for selection of considered technical parameters of gas accumulator. It has been shown in an example, that in the case of dynamic load a proper selection of gas accumulator parameters may reduce the maximum working pressure of the leg by about 17%.

R&d on high pressure water hydraulic elements. Presented paper contains methodology of analysis, design, prototyping and testing procedures of high pressure hydraulic elements. Results of laboratory tests of the prototype relief valve for oil and water application have been presented. It has been pointed specific applications of high pressure water hydraulic drive and control systems in different industries, such as: food processing, construction and mobile machines and vehicles, to rehabilitation and hospital equipment.

Servo hydrostatic bearing – optimization. The paper introduces selected construction of servo hydrostatic bearing and presents mathematical relations which forming the calculation model. This model helps to conduct optimization taking into account the criterion of minimal power necessary for its power supply. Optimization is illustrated by a computational example.

Dynamical properties of wheelhead of the cylindrical grinder. In the paper the dynamical properties of wheelhead unit of the cylindrical grinder SWE-25 were identified by means of experimental modal analysis. Based on the transfer function the dominant natural frequency of the wheelhead was evaluated. The conclusions were drawn due to possibilities of experimental modal analysis applied to determine dynamical properties of machine tool.
