Exploitation of polymeric seals at low temperatures. It has been pointed out the importance of proper selection of elastomeric seals for operating at low temperatures. Test stand for examination of plastomer seals with elastomer silicone and steel spring has been presented. The schedule of the planned studies including the measurement of seals friction, as well as the continuous measurement of sealing pressure on the surface of the piston rod.
Drive system of remote controlled vehicle. Robots used by the military dedicated to travel and work in rough terrain are very important. They have many advantages and must characterize high mobility level. Support robot with hydrostatic drive has been developed. In the paper has been presented selected research results from driving on different surfaces.
Load sensing hydraulic system in a drill rig. The paper describes the design of a new drilling machine equipped with energy-efficient load-sensing system. This type of control grants many advantages – load independent flow control, great ease for actuators control, power-saving control minimizing power loss. Other additional functions of the machine have been listed and the role of security used to protect miners during operation has been underlined.
Design of automatic systems in autoSIM-200. In the paper the capabilities of AUTOSIM-200 software by SMC for computer aided design of pneumatic, hydraulic and electric circuits have been presented. By means of that software it is possible to create the system of drive and control using typical elements symbols library. Subsequently it is possible to simulate the system performance when acting in the assumed working cycle. Application of the software in education has been also presented.
Mathematical model of volumetric flow control system. The problem of mathematical modelling of the volumetric flow control system with a constant displacement pump has been analysed. The nonlinear and linear mathematical models of the input-output type of the electrohydraulic system have been presented. On the basis of the laboratory investigations it has been concluded that the identified parameters depend on speed of the pump, external load of the hydraulic motor, as well as the applied experiment plane.
