Walking hexapod robot with the controller of servomotors. This article presents project of the hexapod walking robot with the controller of servomotors used in robots constructions and dedicated control system. The design and basic components of the system based on the PIC12F1840 microcontroller have been described. The operation of the system has been verified by programming selected algorithms of robot’s movement.

The energy efficiency of the hydrostatic drive. Issues related to energy efficiency are important to improve the functionality and the quality of hydrostatic drive systems. Efficiency of various hydraulic systems has been discussed. Authors described the nature of testing of hydrostatic systems and laboratory methods used to determine and to assess their energy efficiency.

Improved tightness and reliability of PTFE-lined pipes and flanges. The paper presents the results of experimental studies on tightness of flanged joints with PTFE coating. The tightening torque of bolts required for the achievement of the initial contact pressure depends on screws, washers, nuts and used grease. A torque wrench, proposed to mount the connector, enable to achieve the pressure on the seal approximately 25 MPa.

New design of the transducer for minimum flow. A review of the flow meters on the market has been presented. Authors discuss design and operation of a new flow transducer, designed for installation in potentially explosive coal dust and methane. Design features that enable more widespread use of the device have been presented.

The concept and design of the deck crane with compensation of the ship motion on the wave. This paper presents the design solution and schema of hydraulic drive and control systems of the deck crane destined for transshipment at sea of unit loads including also dangerous loads. Conditions and additional requirements regarding the design of the crane, as well as the applied drive and control system have been explained. A very important feature of this system is to significantly stabilize the movement of the load, thus reducing the dynamic loads during transshipment operation at a rough sea.
