Researches on compensation and valve plate in SM satellite pumps and motors type. The range and nature of the research of new SM type of satellite pumps and motors with a very small displacement have been presented. The aim of the research works was to improve the construction of those machines, especially the axial compensation and to correct determination of holes diameters in valve plate of pumps and motors.

The optymization of the hydrostatic closed slideways. In the paper the model of the hydrostatic closed slideways with constant pressure supply was presented. The equations concerning their stiffness with regard the normal force and torque were given. The theoretical results were compared to the experimental research and shown in a form of graphs.

Investigation of hydrodynamic torque converter with small size of impellers. In the paper the investigation of a hydrodynamic torque converter applied in a fork-lift truck and its model with small size of impellers were described. On the base of non-dimensional characteristics of the hydrodynamic torque converter with small size impellers it is possible to obtain the non-dimensional characteristics of the hydrodynamic torque converter with the geometrically similar working area and the bigger diameter.

Hydrostatic bearings – interspaced choking elements, part I. In the first part of the publication there are introduced calculation models of annular, rectangular and square interspaced choking elements used in hydrostatic bearings. There are derived formulas to calculate pressure, volume intensity of flow and forces which extend surface of interspaces.

Hydraulic systems for cable tightening in aerial cable railways. The article presents classification of cable railways, as well as cable tightening systems with the main indicating factors. Furthermore, some examples of the author’s solutions for aerial cable railway are given.
