Application of non-parametric signal analysis methods for diagnostics of rotor unit wear in axial piston pump. A possibility of rotor unit wear detection of axial piston pump based on measurement signals time-frequency analysis in the present study is described. Spectral Power Density PSD, Short-time Fourier transform STFT and generalized Wigner-Vill algorithm WVD were used for this purpose. The axial piston pump with the swinging plate, in which the good and the worn rotor unit were mounted, has been tested.

Hydraulic prop operation modeling. This paper presents an analytical method for the evaluation of the dynamic performance of hydraulic props with valves. The mathematical model of the props and the simplifying assumptions has been described. The simulation tests with the model have been carried out.

Advanced control algorithms for nonlinear hydraulic system. The possibilities of using advanced control algorithms in hydraulic systems have been presented. The development of the use of the algorithms based on fuzzy logic and artificial neural networks to control the hydraulic systems has been described. The test results of the exemplary hydrostatic transmission have been shown.

Research projects realized in the division of mechatronics. The paper deals with the research projects in the division of mechatronics. The design development of pneumatic parallel manipulator of tripod type is an example project. A Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC) of PD type to teaching-playback control of servo-drive in pneumatic manipulators of tripod type has been presented and implemented.
